Visit Monmouthshire has utilised Simpleview’s Tourism Pro solution with dramatic effect for its newly launched website.
Monmouthshire is in Wales, sitting on the border with England and at the crossroads between the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Brecon Beacons National Park and the low-lying cultural landscape of the Gwent Levels. The destination boasts historic sites from the Roman to the Victorian period, including the romantic ruins of Tintern Abbey and the oldest stone castle in Britain, Chepstow Castle.
The site is presented in English and Welsh with lots of content to inspire the visitor including what’s on, things to do and accommodation highlights, plenty of inspiration in the form of Facts and Top 5/10 listings, all complemented by some stunning UGC (User Generated Content) from Instagram (displayed using Crowdriff galleries) for optimum authenticity.
"We’re really excited by the opportunities presented by the new website to better showcase Monmouthshire and all the wonderful experiences on offer across the destination to help recover and grow the benefits of tourism for the good of our people, environment and communities" says Nicola Edwards, Destination Manager at Monmouthshire County Council
Monmouthshire is Wales’ culinary capital so the Food and Drink section aims to whet the appetite with images guaranteed to make the visitor’s mouth water.
The area is a walker’s paradise too, with 1000 miles of public footpaths, some of which have been featured by the Visit Monmouthshire team in their Winter Walks section.
Simpleview’s Tourism Pro package offers an affordable, feature-rich solution with all the visitor touch points to inspire and drive bookings to your destination. Contact your Account Manager to find out more or for new business enquiries, email saleseurope@simpleviewinc.com.
