New Site Helps Greenwich to Welcome Back Visitors 'Time After Time'

A new site for Visit Greenwich, developed by Simpleview, promotes the destination’s unique tourism offer and meets the expectations of local businesses as the industry starts to recover.

Visit Greenwich, a private sector led DMO, aims to grow the visitor economy and raise the profile of Greenwich for the benefit of businesses, visitors and residents. The site will play a key role in the destination’s strategy to build on its status, post-COVID, as a world-class destination, attracting 20 million tourists per year, spending £1.5 billion locally and supporting over 17,000 jobs. 


Developed on Simpleview’s Tourism Pro platform, the site’s ‘Visit Greenwich, time after time’ branding is central to the destination’s visitor proposition to encourage visitors to return, stay longer, spend more and bring friends. The bold, image-led design reflects Greenwich’s diversity, aiming to appeal to millennials, families and culture and heritage seekers.

The destination’s proud maritime heritage takes centre stage.  Home to the Meridian Line (which divides the eastern and western hemispheres at zero degrees longitude), Greenwich boasts the Cutty Sark (the world’s last remaining tea clipper and one of the world’s fastest ships in her day), the National Maritime Museum and the Old Royal Naval College. Access to other popular attractions such as the Emirates Air Line cable car, Greenwich Market, Greenwich Park and The O2, together with all of Simpleview’s signature functionality for inspiring, planning and booking, providing visitors with all the tools they need.   

The site also promotes the destination’s comprehensive corporate offer, with information on its choice of venues and support for conferences, meetings and events.
