Interest in the Simpleview CRM solution is gaining momentum in Europe following the acquisition of another new client, Meet in Cheltenham, as the organisation plans for the recovery of the events industry.

Meet in Cheltenham is a new conference and venue finding service for the Regency spa town of Cheltenham, providing a range of services to help its clients to plan the perfect event, from a large conference over a number of days to a one-off bespoke event or small corporate meeting.

The organisation was looking for a solution which would facilitate the management of every aspect of their service and streamline their sales and services process once the current restrictions start to be eased.  

The Simpleview CRM solution features a comprehensive suite of functionality and includes a dedicated Convention & Meeting Sales Module to support conference bureau sales operations including client relations, prospecting, lead generation and distribution, workflow management, bid preparation, event servicing, economic impact reporting and much more, as well as including integrations with ICCA, for seamless imports of client/profile data.

The key features which attracted Meet in Cheltenham to the Simpleview CRM were:

  • Integration with Outlook – time consuming copy and paste of conversations with partners is no longer necessary
  • Convention/Meeting Sales Module – aspects of everyday sales operations, such as account management, prospecting, lead details and stages, and event servicing, are inherently built in to streamline workflow processes and report sales activity and performance measures for Conventions, Meetings, and Events.
  • Hosted Online RFP Builder for Meeting Planners on the Microsite – an optional extra which features a form that sits on their website and integrates with the Simpleview CRM Meeting Sales Module and creates a lead and notification every time an RFP is sent via their new microsite.
  • The Event Management Module - designed to support the management of FAM trips, site inspections and events hosted by your destination such as partner events, training seminars, sales missions, and trade shows.
  • Member/Partner Management Module – team can capture and manage business listing, amenity and meeting facility details, manage dues and invoicing and report the value their bureau is generating for partners from automatically tracked benefits
  • Member/Partner Extranet Portal - designated member contacts can access their accounts via a password-protected, secure, online portal, a real benefit to Meet in Cheltenham as a new bureau.

The implementation of the Simpleview CRM will be complemented by the development of a new Conference microsite to help Meet in Cheltenham to showcase its diverse events offering and exploit its potential.
