Coronavirus Update: Reassurance for Our DMO Clients & Partners

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread, we are ever mindful that our DMO clients across Europe will want to know how this might affect the service that they receive from Simpleview and what risks that may pose to their own business.

In light of this, please be assured that we are taking all the necessary precautions with regard to the COVID-19 outbreak and have 3 key priorities; to keep our employees safe, to ensure continuity of service to our customers and partners and to do our part in preventing the spread of the virus.

As a digital company we are increasingly utilising the benefits of cloud services such as Google’s G-Suite and Zendesk for much of our operational applications and this puts us in a strong position to transition to remote working if the need arises. To this end, we are planning to run a company-wide ‘Stress-Test’ on Friday the 20th of March whereby all staff will perform their respective roles from home as a forerunner of what might be required in the weeks and months ahead.

Our Infrastructure Team has already made sure that all staff have the tools and means to work from home. The Stress-Test event will further enable us to refine our working practices in order that we can continue answering support tickets, delivering web projects, undertaking platform developments and holding client meetings. In short, our intention is to continue to deliver all the services that our clients expect and depend upon from Simpleview right through this global crisis.

In order to do this, we will have to be adaptable and be prepared to work in new and innovative ways, some of which we are already familiar with. For instance, rather than asking either our clients or staff to travel to account meetings, we are instead switching these to be conducted using video conferencing tools and we would welcome your assistance in participating with this initiative.

We also recognise we have a larger role to play in our communities and are doing our part to minimise any contribution to the spread of the virus. To this end we have installed anti-bacterial hand gel dispensers in the office and are insisting that any staff presenting with flu-like symptoms self-isolate for 7 days as per the government guidelines.

Finally, given the fluid nature of these events, our Senior Leadership Team continue to closely monitor the developments surrounding COVID-19 and develop appropriate plans so we can respond to various scenarios that may occur.

We are confident in our ability to adapt to these challenging circumstances and are committed to full business continuity alongside the safety of our employees and communities during this difficult time. We appreciate the shared dedication to these priorities, and look forward to navigating through this situation together.
