Visit Eastbourne is migrating from NVG’s platform to Simpleview’s Tourism Pro solution which will give the destination all the rich functionality and features that it needs in 2020 and beyond.

Officially the sunniest town in Britain, Eastbourne enjoys a unique climate, protected by Beachy Head, the highest chalk cliff on the south coast and the chalk Downland of the South Downs National Park, the closest national park to London.

Eastbourne is a major cultural hub, with five theatres, an art gallery of international repute and a vibrant events programme.   It also boasts the UK’s largest and the world’s busiest Bandstand with live music every night of the high season. The destination’s main event is its award-winning, free international airshow which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year, with live online footage being viewed all over the World. Another key attraction is the Nature Valley International Eastbourne Tennis Tournament which offers access to some of the best lawn tennis courts in the world, attracting the sport’s top ten players.

Visit Eastbourne’s primary objectives for the new site are to increase online bookings and traffic and to boost visibility overseas.  Simpleview’s Tourism Pro solution will take the destination to the next level in terms of improved functionality and dynamic features.  The destination is taking advantage of the option to add more features too with dedicated Air Show and Conference channel sites, French and German language versions, integration of the MailMinder email marketing solution and rich content including YouTube videos, blogs and Tourism for All product data and search.

The site will be going live in April 2020.
