Simpleview Europe are looking to recruit an experienced Support Analyst to join their team. 

Simpleview is an international eTourism consultancy with offices in Liverpool, Oslo and America.  Specialists in the world of tourism, we design and develop powerful tourism websites for clients around the globe, powered by our Destination Management System and our Enterprise Content Management System.  

Our UK-based, multi-discipline, team has the flexibility to work either from our Liverpool office, just outside central Liverpool with views over the River Mersey, or remotely should they choose to do so. 

Our Support Analyst will sit within our skilled Support Team assisting our valued clients on a day-to-day basis. 

The Role

  • You will be providing first point of contact for all technical queries and incidents from customers relating to the Simpleview suite of applications and hosted web sites
  • Providing 1st and 2nd Line technical fixes for clients were available, escalating issue to relevant areas when necessary. 
  • Assisting in the production of written / video based documentation for client facing knowledge base. 

The successful candidate will have the following - 

  • Experience within a busy Support Desk environment.
  • The ability to communicate, in writing and verbally, in a confidently and professional manner.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage own time
  • A self-motivated appetite to learn, research and self-teach
  • The ability and confidence  to pro-actively put forward ideas
  • Be a team player with flexibility when required. 

The Following would be beneficial - 

  • Awareness of web-based technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Awareness of the ITIL framework.
