Job Purpose:

To facilitate and manage the creation and development of our clients’ web sites and provide support to the Senior Project Managers. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of work, ensure projects are on or within budget and on time. As this role is client-facing it’s important you’re personable and friendly. To be considered you should have some commercial PM experience, a minimum of a year's commercial exposure within a Digital Project Management team/function and you should be of graduate calibre. Initially you will be handling smaller projects but over time, you will gain more responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities (Specific)

Task Management

  • Co-ordinate the activities of the assigned resource to ensure optimum use of time and effort.
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines

Client Management

  • Liaise with the client to ensure that the work done closely adheres to that described by the proposal.
  • Accurate and simplified communication with the client.

Anticipating and pre-emptive

  • Keep project managers informed about project progress and/or problems that need addressing.
  • Oversee the testing and implementation of a web site going live to ensure that as far as possible it is free of errors.

Judgement and evaluation

  • Make decisions as to whether a job is support or new work.

Attending meetings

  • Attend weekly project planning meetings and daily team meetings when required

Completing/ Finishing

  • Excellent attention to detail with a good eye for grammar
  • An understanding of quality assurance and user acceptance testing
  • Ensure that site developments are completed on time, within or under budget and that the perceived quality of the work to be of the highest standard.

Skills Required

  • Digital project management experience is essential
  • Experience of managing small-scale projects
  • An understanding of project management process and methodologies
  • Maintain and develop productive client relationships during the project process
  • Good communication skills
