New Business Development Manager

Location: Can be home-based but travel is a requirement of the role
Salary: £35K - £50K - based on experience, plus commission structure

New Mind tellUs (Simpleview Inc. worldwide) is the leading supplier of integrated e-tourism solutions to destinations throughout the world. The tourism web sites we create are amongst the highest performing of their type. Our 900+ clients benefit from fast, tangible results and outstanding customer support.

Due to ambitious expansion plans, we need a dedicated New Business Development Manager who can grow our client base in the UK and step into the role of Sales Director as we expand the team. The successful applicant will focus exclusively on the sales to and acquisition of new clients. You will be supported with leads generated by our international marketing team, professional sales collateral, lots of industry training and strong co-operation from your peers. 

Based at home but affiliated to our Liverpool office, you will be required to travel and work autonomously, building relationships, keeping abreast of tender opportunities and responding to them when they arise. You will have the opportunity and be encouraged to attend tradeshows and conferences both in the UK and across Europe in order to achieve this.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum three years’ sales experience with demonstrable results, ideally in a Destination Marketing environment
  • Lead generation and development
  • Sales pipeline management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and act upon key reports and statistics
  • Ability to present our products and services to clients in a clear and enthusiastic way
  • Ability to think on your feet to generate additional business

Advantageous:

  • Experience of the tourism industry
  • Languages
